A commitment to Chinese Language and Culture Education

Center for Chinese Learning at Stony Brook (CCL, also known as Stony Brook Chinese School) is a private, nonprofit organization. The goal of the school is to develop and operate a nonsectarian, nonpolitical, and non-discriminatory program for teaching Chinese language, and for disseminating Chinese culture and traditions.

CCL currently offers regular Chinese classes (including both Mandarin and bilingual classes) with the choice of either morning or afternoon class, and Enrichment classes (eg. Chinese dancing, drawing, chess, martial arts, etc.) on Saturdays-in-session.

There are around 300 students enrolled in our programs in the school year of 2023 – 2024.
